A 45-hour immersion with Zeyah Rogé

Movement enthusiasts are welcome to join for this deep dive into anatomy. Join virtually or in-person for this exciting opportunity to learn about anatomy and how it applies to yoga asana and other movement practices.

Immerse into the world of bones, joints, and muscles and gain a nuanced understanding of anatomy that will enrich your practice. Together we explore the similarities and differences between us and how this natural variations gives way to beautiful diverse expressions of movement potential. This program pairs conventional anatomical learning with a somatics perspective, where what is studied is felt and where there is space to reflect on the metaphors and deeper philosophical implications that our bodies hold.

This immersion is part of the SOMA School Yoga School and Teacher Training Program and so it will be geared toward established and aspiring yoga teachers who are learning to guide others in yoga. There will be a fair amount of discussion about how this information applies to teaching yoga, however all are welcome to apply who have a genuine interest in the topic.
