Join Anjali for a workshop on Bhakti Immersion!
Bhakti as a practice of devotion, as a movement of disruption sparked individual and collective transformation. Bhakti ignited spontaneous, fiery, radical uprisings against caste oppression, patriarchal norms and colonialism. Yet, Bhakti is not just a monolithic practice, it encompasses diverse traditions, belief systems, religions and identities. In this practice oriented immersion, we will cultivate critical insight into the co-optation of bhakti into ethno-nationalist idealogies, reflect on how we can practice in an authentic way and be inspired to integrate the sacred in our every day lives.
This session will have asana, chanting and journaling prompts.
